چکیده

We study large scale collective dynamics of isoscalar type and examine the in-uence of interactions residual to independent particle motion. It is argued that for excitations which commonly are present in experimental situations such interactions must not be neglected. They even help to justify better the assumption of locality, both in time as well as in phase space, which is necessary not only for such classic approaches to collective motion as the "cranking model" but also for the more general picture of a transport process. With respect to dissipation, our results are contrasted with those of wall friction.

The Spin Temperature of Warm Interstellar H

Collisional excitation of the λ21cm hyperfine transition is not strong enough to thermalize it in warm neutral (" intercloud ") interstellar gas, which we show by simultaneously solving the equations of ionization and collisional equilibrium under typical conditions. Coupling of the λ21cm excitation temperature and local gas motions may be established by the Ly-α radiation field, but only if st...

Phase transition of the dry friction between crystalline surfaces induced by normal load

A major source of energy dissipation and surface wear is the kinetic friction at the interfaces of sliding bodies. Traditionally, on a macroscopic scale, this undesirable effect is reduced with lubricating the surfaces by introducing oil into their interface. An interesting phenomenon, called superlubricity, has been reported on a nanometer scale where dry (without lubricant oil) fruition and w...

Constraining the strength of Dark Matter Interactions from Structure Formation

We discuss the damping of primordial dark matter fluctuations, taking into account explicitly the interactions of dark matter – whatever their intensity – both with itself and with other particle species. Relying on a general classification of dark matter particle candidates, our analysis provides, from structure formation, a new set of constraints on the dark matter particle mass and interacti...

Analysis and tracking dust storms routes entering to east of Iran using the particle diffusion HYSPLIT model

Extended abstract 1- Introduction A dust storm is one of the biggest serious environmental problems in the arid and semi-arid regions of the world, causing irreparable damages to farms, facilities, roads, traffic and transportation every year and respitory problems by contaminating the air. Due to the geographic location of Iran which is  in the arid and semi-arid belt of the world, the count...
